Code of Conduct

Thanks for using Runway AI, Inc. (“Runway", “we” or “our”). This code of conduct (the “Code of Conduct”) applies to our online platforms and in-person interactions.

At Runway, we are committed to creating and supporting an all-inclusive, harassment-free and diverse community.

Runway is dedicated to and promotes:

• Respect

If you believe that you have experienced or if you witness any form of harassment on any of our platforms or at a Runway in-person or remote event, please alert community@runwayml.com or use our reporting tool to report the incident.

1. Purpose.

Runway is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and friendly environment for all users and participants, regardless of race, age, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, ethnicity, sex (including pregnancy), gender, gender identity or expression, including status as a transgender individual, physical or mental disability, alienage or citizenship status, military status, including past, current or prospective service in the uniformed services, genetic information, predisposing genetic characteristic, marital status, domestic violence victim status, familial status, and actual or perceived sexual orientation.

2. Expected Behavior.

We expect all Runway users and participants to create a safe community for all other users and participants.

As a member of the Runway community, you are expected to:

• Participate in an authentic and active way and, in doing so, contribute to the health and longevity of our – your - community
• Collaborate and avoid conflict and confrontation – we are all here to help one another and to learn from one another
• Not demean, discriminate, or harass other users and participants
• Be mindful of your fellow users and participants
• Alert us if you notice a dangerous situation, someone in distress, or violations of this Code of Conduct, even if these potential or actual issues may seem inconsequential

3. Unacceptable Behavior.

We consider the following behavior, whether in-person or on Runway’s platforms, unacceptable:

• Violence, threats of violence or violent language directed against anyone
• Sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, ageist or otherwise discriminatory jokes and language
• Posting or displaying, and use of Runway to post or display, sexually explicit, pornographic or violent material
• Posting or threatening to post other people's personally identifiable information
• Personal insults, particularly those related to gender, age, creed, sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, or disability and other characteristics listed in Section 1 of this Code of Conduct
• Inappropriate photography or recording
• Inappropriate physical contact
• Unwelcome sexual attention, such as (among other behavior) sexualized comments or jokes, inappropriate touching, and groping
• Deliberate intimidation or stalking, either online or in-person
• Sustained disruption of community events, including talks and presentation
• Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior, through or without the use of Runway

4. Weapons Policy.

No weapons are allowed at any Runway events or community space. Weapons include but are not limited to guns, explosives (including fireworks), and large knives such as those used for hunting or display, as well as any other item used for the purpose of causing injury or harm to others. Anyone who is seen in possession of one of the foregoing at a Runway event or community space will be asked to leave immediately.
